Charitable and Volunteer Involvement

Jonathan has a large heart for the South Florida community and Jewish organizations. For several years, Jonathan acted as lead counsel to his temple. Jonathan has served as a Trustee of Congregation B'Nai Israel.


As a dedicated husband and father, his passion for family pours out into his involvement with the Jewish Adoption Foster Care Options. Jonathan’s participation in JAFCO allows the organization to assist local Jewish families with foster care, adoption, family preservation, and mentoring. Jonathan is also an active member of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County, PAC Division. His role is to aid in raising money for local Jewish charities.


Michael is a very active member of a number of many organizations including The Boca Chamber of Commerce and various networking groups. Michael also holds a number of leadership functions both in Florida and nationally with the Anti-Defamation League.

Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County

Jonathan Bloom is an active member and leader within the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County. Its mission is to inspire local Jewish residents of South Florida to curate a strong and vivid Jewish community through South Florida.

Anti-Defamation League

ADL is a long standing internationally recognized organization combating anti-Semitism both in the US and around the world while combating hate and promoting diversity and inclusion. Michael Freeling is both a Regional Leader in Florida and National Leader recognized for his volunteer work with ADL around the United States.

Jewish Adoption Foster Care Options

JAFCO is a South Florida organization with the mission to preserve child welfare through high quality family initiatives. Jonathan Bloom is active within this organization that cares for abused and neglected children in the Jewish community.
